I can’t give many details about this match, mainly because I
was busy running 13.1 miles around the streets of Bath, but also because the
outcome of the referee’s decision to abandon the match after 75 minutes, with the
Accies 3-1 down, is still to be revealed.

I do know that Liam scored our goal – which actually put us
in the lead – after following up a saved shot on goal by (? – assist to be
claimed). I also know that Gordon Banks
made an appearance, but unfortunately it was far too brief to make up for Foggy’s
absence, who had swapped green for white as he helped Belhus CC win the ECB
National Indoor Championship. Huge
congratulations to our skipper, although reading the report of the semi and
final suggests we needed him more than Belhus did. Watch the video clip in the following link
and you’ll see his main contribution seemed to be over-the-top celebrating and
taking over the group photo-shoot.
I also believe Brian received the MoTM award. Apparently he has asked for a permanent switch to left back - I can't hear any objections...
