Oaks 3 - Stagecoach 4

Oaks crashed to a defeat versus a poor Stagecoach side. Oaks were left to rue some terrible defensive blunders, which resulted in defenders heading past the goalie.. twice. Awful.

Oaks started well, with jackson scoring a goal. Hows the love bite? haha
The second half oaks trailed 2-1, but managed to come back and lead 3-2 in the second half after some good pressure. Nathan scored an excellent goal with his left foot...

Well I think this is what happened anyway, cant anyone else write this?

KO 10:30 Blackshots, Grays. Home Game. You Know the score.

Pre-Match news: Features the return of Jonny Homebase from Lapland, where he has been making christmas presents for everyone. This match should also see the appearance of Streety and the boy Coley. Looks like Nathan is sub this week then!

Oaks Athletic 5 - Dog & Partridge 1

The game started off fairly evenly, with both teams having some possesion.

About 15 minutes into the game the ball dropped to the lively Nathan O'Kiern to be sure. He drilled a low drive into the bottom right hand corner. A good start for Oaks.

About 5 minutes later Jackson collected the ball out on the right, and deftly flicked the ball over two defenders heads in turn. The second defender brought him down poor jackson. There was no doubt about it and the referee gave the correct decision of a penalty. Up stepped Jeffy Archer who walloped it down the centre. 2-0.

A long kick by Oaks Keeper Parker saw the ball bounce awkwardly, with Jackson dummying a knock on header. This allowed Jonny Gay to sprint between two defenders and slot home with a clinical finish. At this stage Oaks were cruising.

One incident involving Dean Wright Rhino headbutting a player off the field of play was quite funny. This Made jackson start on the whole team. No one came to blows though and the game was not really that dirty afterwards.

The second half saw a taller version of D. Allen come ont he park for C. Andrews. K. Horwood was moved into right back from left wing, with D. Kierns pushing out left. After about 5 minutes played the ball fell to Gollum who is becoming a real handful to Sunday league defences. As the ball fell he spun and fired a low drive to the near post. The ball bounced awkwardly for the goalkeeper and somehow it went in! 4-0 to the Oaks.

Dog & Partridge worried the oaks defence after this, with some fine play. They managed to get a goal with a header by someone ginger off a corner. This fired them up a little.

Oaks settled down after this, and a superlative overhead kick by N. O' Kerin put oaks 5-1 up. Directly after this, he got the football in the groin. The match was over by this point, but Oaks were eager to score again, with Jonny Gray missing millions of chances! Results and table here

Concept 'B' 1 - Oaks Athletic 1

Oaks got off to a great start from a long throw-in, which was a dangerous tactic used throughout the game. The ball hit the Crouch-esque Paul Gollum, I think it came off his ass. Oaks had several chances in the first half, in this closly matched encounter. White came close at both ends with various efforts. Oaks conceded a goal right at the end of the second half after a poor clearance by Ciarns. It was a shame really as we battled hard after long spells under the cosh. Horwood-K came close with a brilliant header with the last kick of the game but it was not to be. I would have loved to have scored. I would have caterpillared the length of the pitch! Must try harder. Keef is now injured by a major finger injury, which means he cannot write any christmas cards this year. Sorry fellas. I found the surface hard going, I seemed to slip and slide too much. I also had problems coming to terms with playing on the left. I think I should have been swapped onto the right when Cole came on. It only just occured to me, but I am really bad on the left. I was also man-marked by the ginger cahnt. One amusing thing that did happen was a terrible pass by me smashed a thermos on the side of the pitch. Serves them bitches right.

Oaks 1 - Chadwell 2

Cup match this week, it was at ye olde Greyhound Pub Pitches. You know the one that is not too bad a pitch apart from its strange undulations which make you fall over a lot.

Oaks took an early lead thanks to ME (K.Horwood). I rose like a salmon to fire a bullet header past the stunned defence and almost ripping the net in twain.

Chadwell put up a fight after that and managed to get a goal back in the second half with some weak effort that somehow crossed the line. It was probably offside.

The game went to extra time where chadwell manged to get a fluke goal when a cross was caught by the wind and drifted into the net beyond Parker, who had had a good game.

Oaks never gave up even with the tired legs but the ball seemed to not fall to the feet of the superb Goalscorer KEEF.

Upon returning to the pub we were met with a free drink courtesy of DEBS. What a top lass. She must fancy one of us. It is probably KEEF as he is like a sober George Best.

REFEREE'S REPORT

This just in...

"During the game, an Oak Athletic Player (Kierns) was away from the fullback and clear down the left when he was taken out of the game. The Thurrock Foolback (Squirt) turned to my whistle and shouted at the top of his lungs 'I didn't touch him!'. An Oak Player, a rowdy so-and-so who goes by the name of Jackson, replied 'Shut it you cunt!'. After sizing each other up with some shoves and a test of strength, Jackson was seen to send a right hook straight into the chin of Squirt. What followed was a disgraceful sight as players, fans and cripples (Dean) piled in for some kind of preverted orgy of sorts. All I can say was that I had no choice but to send off both Jackson and Squirt for feeling inside of other player's shorts. I suggest a small fine and some detention at my house."

So that is all cleared up then.

3-0 Win against Aspect

Scorers: Jackson, Gray and White.

Aspect only had 9 men and it showed. They defended with conviction throughtout the first half, the only goal being Jacksons exquisite lob over the keeper from a superb White goalkick. This was probably around 30 minutes of time played. Before this goal there was some poor misses from the Gollum and other losers. I shouted with all my might but the goals were not going in.

In the second half, OAKS kept up the pressure, the Aspect keeper making some amazing saves throughout, just like in the first half. The second goal (which was probably just a hopefull long ball) was scored by jonny gay. Somehow it went in and lobbed the keeper. The goal was followed by the usual Jonny celebration which was better than jackos, which I cannot remember. Nathan could not hit a barn door today, so we did not see his celebration from him. Kierns hit the corner flag with some poor first time volleys. Horwood Junior now wants a run out up front.

The third goal was a bit scrappy. The ball fell to Alex white, who had pushed forward, and he finished with a hard drive in the bottom corner. OAKS should have scored many goals like this today!

So how many goals has everyone scored? I want cup and league lists really. I mught actually put ASSISTS aswell, so people pass......

You Lunch!

What the hell is wrong with the world? It is all doom and gloom at the moment.

Well adding to the worldwide rioting and natural disasters, the oaks crashed to a 1-0 defeat at home today. The goal was a soft goal to concede, with 'One Fat Leg' heading past Mr Parker midway in the first half. A breakdown in communication! Well it was dissapointing, as we should have thrashed them 'Jacks Lads' Fools.

Next week we are unsure if there is a game, but there may be training if people are up for that.
